The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to assist you with a return or exchange. Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be within 30 days of your purchase, and be in new, unused condition. The item must also have original tags and be in the original packaging.
Non-returnable items include:
• Gift cards
• Closeout Sale items
• Special Orders
• Custom Orders
Closeout Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Closeout SALE Items have been marked down significantly and are sold at deep discounts. They are sold as final sale items.
Special Orders: Custom Items, and Monogrammed Items are NOT returnable. A Special Order item is an item that we normally do not stock. It will clearly say on our web site if any item is a SPECIAL ORDER. This item is brought in exclusively for you. *Special Orders cannot be canceled once the order is placed.*
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If you need to exchange it for the same item, please call us or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges both ways for exchange orders. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please contact us if you have any questions.
To return your product after you have contacted us, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Items that were shipped free will be refunded the amount of the merchandise LESS the cost of our shipping. If you are shipping an item valued over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Saddle Return Policy:
We understand the importance of a properly fitting saddle. You have 5 days, starting from the date you received the saddle, to try out any saddle purchased from North Shore Saddlery, Ltd. Be sure to take extra care to WRAP your stirrup leathers to prevent marks on the saddle flaps. Saddles returned with excessive wear will be evaluated & may be charged a fee. Be sure to return the saddle in the original condition you received it. If you decide to return the saddle within 5 days after receiving it, please let us know by calling our store (516) 922-9198 or emailing us: email@example.com
We recommend shipping saddles through UPS & insuring the saddle for the full purchase price. While trying the saddle, please place a clean saddle pad under the saddle and girth it up, wrap the leathers in vet wraps, tube socks or halter fuzzies. You can certainly move the horse forward in it to see how it works for you and your horse. However, we stress that a full refund can only be given if the saddle is absolutely clean and shows no sign of wear.
Please do not oil or use conditioner on this saddle if you are going to return it, as this will render it nonreturnable. Just wipe it over with a cloth dampened with plain water to remove any barn dust or grime.
North Shore Saddlery, Ltd., charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. If you are purchasing from New York, you will be charged sales tax. All other states will not be charged a sales tax.

Shipping & Delivery:
At this time, North Shore Saddlery, Ltd., ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and not to international locations. Nor does North Shore Saddlery, Ltd., ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
