Antares Reference Riding Helmet

The Antares Reference Riding Helmet has been designed to keep you safe both on and off your horse. Conservative and discreet with a matte black shell and black leather finish, the Reference helmet is sober and classic. Its timeless design combines with the comfort of a breathable helmet. The helmet conforms to European standards, enabling riders to ride in complete safety. The visor must be flexible to protect the rider's nose in the event of a fall, to prevent breakage and injury. The outer shell is constructed of ABS plastic which disperse shock and resists perforations. An EPS inner shell absorbs shock in case of impact. The center strip is covered in vinyl, and four front and two rear vents in shell allow cooling airflow. Fixed on three points with stainless steel rivets, the foam-padded leather harness is treated with Scotchgard™ to resist stains.

The Antares riding helmets are handmade in their workshop in Saintes, France, where they are assembled, customized, and fitted. The production process includes meticulous, high-quality assembly of components like the ABS outer shell and EPS liner, ensuring compliance with European and American safety standards.

Each Antares Helmet comes with two kits of breathable, washable OEKO-TEX® liners you can use to achieve your best fit. The kits also ensure the helmet can accommodate a round or oval head shape. 

Helmet Liner kits include:

• Head circumference liners: four foam liners (in 4, 8, 12, 16mm thickness) to make the different sizes depending on the size of the shell.
• Top and front liners: two foam liners for top and front (in 4 and 8mm thickness) to adjust the helmet depth.
